I think Baltacha's going to Johannesburg - is it a joint tournament?

Edited - yes it is - the Soweto Open - I found this article: http://www.southafrica.info/news/sport/tennis-180310.htm

Oh, another tournament in Johannesburg! There was one just a few weeks ago - there was an article on the ATP website about some of the players visiting an animal sanctuary where they met lion cubs.

Ah, here we are - found one article (http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2010/02/Johannesburg-Lopez-Meets-Lions.aspx)- I think there was another as well about some other players visiting it.

Ah, I think this might be the one (http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2009/02/ferrerlions.aspx)I remember - but it's from the previous year.

I wonder if Jamie will visit the lions.

I prefer the Ferrer/white cub piccie, but Lopez went on to win the tournie :).

Hope Jamie/Jonny do get to do a visit/photo-shoot there & that it leads to a good week.

Can't find any information on either Casablanca or Johannnesburg on the ATP site. They are only showing Bogota and Italy in Challengers for this week!
Found Casablanca was looking at challengers:D
Too early for Johannesburg its next week!! I'm going back to bed and starting again!

Draw out - http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2010/5055/mdd.pdf

They Jays are the top seeds and play Lu/De Voest in the first round.

De Voest is the all-time leader in challenger doubles titles with 28, as well as taking 2 ATP titles. Lu has 11 career challenger doubes titles as well as one ATP title, so this is a very useful pairing.

In fact De Voest has 5 career challenger singles titles, and Lu 11, so together they have a staggering 55 career challenger titles.

Eaton/Inglot the only other Brits here, they play a pair of South African wild cards first round.

Sallydaisy

Hmmmm, Bet365 are covering another challenger today it seems so I'm not sure we'll get a livescore for Jamie/Jonny especially since they are scheduled to be on Court 3.

However, I'm hoping (since it says possible court change) that they'll be moved to the Centre Court 'cos they're [1] seeds and will thus end up on Bet365 scoreboard. Wishful thinking but fingers crossed or we'll not know how they are doing!!!

LTA site says there were 8 brits in Jo'burg - I hope the others have managed to get out.

Presumably Jonny's with Jamie, in Dubai - or Athens.
