The JMs (seeded 3rd) play Adil Shamasdin/James Cerretani. They're in the same half as top seeds Kohlmann/Nieminen who have 3 pairs of wildcards in their quarter.

The 2nd match on Court 2 is now in progress with Schukin 5-2 up on Gabashvili and serving for the first set.
Following that is another singles between Spaniards Granollers and Martin before Jamie/Jonny's doubles.

I reckon the lads might not get on court until nearer 4pm but it'll very much depend on the prior matches.

I think they got nobbled early in the first set but they won more points!!! 29/27
The 2nd set scores seemed much closer but in the end the others took the breaks.
Only 3 points in it overall. Darn it.

Cerratanni has played doubles in the main tour several times. Can't remember who with though. Unfortunately the guys didn't manage to take their chances letting that number of break points go begging.

I've just been catching up on what happened in R1 - thanks for the as-it-happens :thumbup:. But :sad: that the JMs lost it. It must be frustrating for them.

At least Jamie gets 17 points on Monday - because he drops his "nil points" from last year's Indian Wells :thumbup: and could be back in top 100 - I hope so.
