2010 Australian Open Doubles Predictions Round 1

And we are back! Hope everyone is having a great New Year so far! And that everyone is as excited for the first grand slam of the year as I am!

Everyone is welcome to enter as many rounds as they wish. You predict the winner and number of sets for each match. Predictions are due before start of play the day of the match. The random scheduling of doubles makes this difficult, and we will probably have at least 2 rounds going on in the same day. If I haven't posted a thread feel free to send me a message with your picks.

If there are any substitutions feel free to change your pick up till the match starts. If you don't change your pick, the substituting team will be used in your picks as well.

You get 1 point for picking the correct winner, if you get that and the sets right you get a point for the sets as well. We give out a bonus point for correctly picking the upset of a seeded team.

I notice that GUB and Fitzy are using different conventions for the score - I think Fitzy's following what we've done in the past. Which is easier for you?

hmmm... I guess I am more used to seeing scores written Fitzys way, so that would be better. Don't cause yourself too much trouble trying to change or anything though.


And it looks like no matches for Tuesday, so I'm guessing the doubles will start Wednesday.
