One of the Jamies opponents (Gawron) was beaten by Auckland/Marray in Poland last week (R1: Auckland/Marray beat Panfil/Gawron 6-3, 6-1)

I don't think this has been mentioned before, but...

James Auckland and Jonny Marray partnered each other to play doubles at the Szczecin Challenger in Poland this week just past. They were seeded 3, and in the first round defeated Polish wildcards Grzegorz Panfil and Marcin Gawron, 6-3 6-1. In the quarterfinals they defeated Peter Luczak (AUS) and Yuri Schukin (KAZ), in a tighter match up, 6-4 7-6 (0).

In the semi-finals, they faced Oleksandr Dolgopolov Junior (UKR) and Artem Smirnov (UKR), and lost a tight first set, 6-7 (3), before folding in the second set, 1-6. Oleksandr and Artem were the eventual runners up of the doubles tournament.

Jonny and James picked up 40 doubles ranking points each, and 2300 euros between them.

I agree with wolfie - it'll be close but ... - I think he will get back in but then may drop out again before the end of the year.

btw I've got the players ranked 91-110 in a spreadsheet with their drop points for the rest of the year (sad - I know) but haven't checked who else is playing this week. I'll update it and see if its worth a post on the rankings thread.

Jamie and Jamie Delgado are the Ljubljana Challenger champs after winning Friday's final, 6-3, 6-3 against Robert and Vagnozzi.

Speaking after the match, Jamie said: "Hey guys, got another title today in Slovenia - took down the final 6-3 6-3 under very questionable floodlights!
It's been a pretty solid week for us both, and hopefully we can push on from here until the end of the season.
