Yes this is the French Open not the Oz Open. I copied and pastied the title from the Oz Open thread and forgot to change the title.

It looks like Huss & Hutchins will get a seeding which will help them defend their 3rd round points from last year.

Good news there then and I think we had realised we're not going back in time!

hopefully they'll have a good few early rounds and get some confidence back

Good luck to them! Let's see them get some points under their belts and start the climb back up the rankings! :swingin:

It says on the home page that Jamie's still in London. He better get on that Eurostar!

ps I'd never noticed Lukasz Kubot until the DC draw was announced. He's number 18 in the dubs ranking and is ranked way above our second best player in the singles. Gulp. Hope you're fit and free Andy!!

Jamie and Pavel have a terrible draw.............. which Rozzie has summed up beautifully!!!

Hutchins/Huss are seeded 13 and face Acasuso/Gonzalez in Round 1 - which on clay is not exactly a pushover!!!

Hey ho.

Here is the Draw (http://www.rolandgarros.com/fr_FR/scores/draws/md/mddraw.pdf)

Will sort out FTM

Jamie as expected didn't get into the mixed. But that didn't stop Liezel from signing up with Bob Bryan!!

Draw here (http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/scores/draws/xd/?promo=search).

Wouldn't be the news Jamie would want to hear! you can't be too critical of Liezel mind you I suppose!

I can't be bothered to look through up teams ranking but I guess Liezel & Jamie didn't make the cut and even if they would have done in the end maybe Liezel didn't want to take the risk of missing the cut so chose Bob.

H&H begin their campaign tomorrow, 4th on court.

If it is Liezel Huber's decision to bin Jamie then it isn't surprising as she has shown herself to be quite ruthless in the past. In her desperation to play at the Beijing Olympics and having failed to get Cara Black to change her nationality to South African, she obtained US citizenship in double quick time. The Americans were delighted to welcome her and bend the nationalisation rules as they struggled with their Fed Cup teams as the Williams sisters are not always willing to play. There was much criticism of her in South Africa at the time for "misleading" the South African Olympic Organisation.

Doubles final is between Moodie & Norman and Dlouhy & Paes, they knocked out the top two seeds today. Norman is 38, has played on the challenger tour since the dawn of time and decided to switch to doubles specialist this year, what a story!!!

Wish I had a bet on Norman & Moodie today when they were at 40/1 after losing the first set 6-0 to the Bryans.

would you bet on them for the final, wolfie? (you don't do ftm, do you?)

Heather Watson & partner are a set up in the Girls doubles final 6-3 0-0*

later: sadly they lost 36 63 10-8 - but well done Heather for being runners-up :swingin:

yes, it was a great performance and pity they couldn't quite do it! Dhouly and Paes took the men's doubles as I expected really but had to come from behind to beat Norman and Moodie 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. It certainly was a good run for Wesley and Dick though!
