It's actually a decent field for them compared to what they usually get and they are competing with Dubai and Acapulco which are both 500 events. Looks like Blake is not returning.
Sallydaisy
06-02-2009, 11:33 PM
Perhaps he's headed for Acapulco since it's a 500 on his own side of the pond and he'd avoid the big boys out in Dubai too???
Fitzy
07-02-2009, 03:26 AM
Acapulco is on clay and Blake is an American. Those two things don't go hand in hand much these days. ;) :p

Just checked ATP site, only info on a Greg Hill from USA is date of birth 1977 - so if that's the one, he's a bit old for a student.

Oops I picked up Gregg Hill (dob 1963) not Greg Hill (http://www.atpworldtour.com/3/en/players/playerprofiles/?playernumber=H414)from the ATP site - will correct the info in FTM thread now.

There is a Greg Hill tennis school near Tampa, but I'm guessing that guy is too old, unless Delray wanted to give a coach (like Kelly Jones last year??) a chance in the doubles draw again.

The semis are first & last matches
Booty at 5pm UK time, the other after Fish's semi which is midnight UK time - so I guess 1am at earliest - could be later.
I suggest that FTMs for Bryans v Booty/Soares match close at 5pm and for Ram/Reynolds v Melo/Sa at midnight.
