Looks as though the draw is out if Wolfie has posted on Ross's thread.

Am I right that seeding depends on doubles ranking and so Blake/Fish won't be seeded?

Sallydaisy

Not sure Jane; you may be right but I've not had chance to check.
I left in all the calculations in the Rotterdam Draw post so people could see how it was all worked out.

It's good to see all the calculations (& may help with FTM :))

It didn't work in Zagreb. Jamie and Dusan were bumped up ahead of Knowle/Melzer to be made #3 seeds.

I'm not sure what your post means

It means that if you look at the caculations Jamie/Dusan should not have been seeded 3.....

Ross plays around midnight Tuesday in San Jose......

First post is updated with information.......

maybe they'd have got a better draw if seedings had been different

Booty and Fish are a set up in their doubles match in San Jose against Lipsky/Martin.

Not sure if I'll be up to post the final result.

Booty and Fish won 6-4, 7-5! Pretty impressive since Fish played in a final on Sunday in South Africa. Not much turn around time for him.

OK - I was around but doing other stuff.

I'm so glad Booty won, Fish too obviously, but for Eric it'd be great for him to post a few more wins to keep his rankings going.

I just saw that the Bryan twins beat the Ratiwana twins in San Jose.............

Is this match a first on the Doubles tour???
I can't think of a previous time that 2 pairs of twins faced one another?
:)

Fitzy
12-02-2009, 02:25 AM
It's the first time yes, that two pairs of twins have ever played each other on the ATP tour.

Unfortunately for the Thai twins, their level of play is probably still at the challenger level but it would be interesting if they kept improving and played the Bryans again. :)

What a shame. It seems very difficult for the teams we support to get consistent wins at the moment.
