They are 4th on the Margaret Court Arena after 2 ladies doubles and 1 veterans doubles matches.

So, 11am start, allow 2 x 2hrs and 1 x 1.5hrs = 5.5hrs = 4.30pm Oz, 5.30am UK.

I'll be here........... or rather I'll be on Slamtracker for deffo but if my brain isn't in gear my fingers might not hit the keyboard.

Liezel/Cara are out of the Ladies doubles losing in 7'6, 3'6, 10'12.
The match lasted 3hours!!!!! and they only left the court around 3.15am.

Adding another ladies and mens doubles will perhaps take 3hrs at least so a revised estimate of
on-court for Jamzel is approx 6-6.30am!!!

JAMIE MURRAY OUT IN AUSTRALIA

24 hours after his brother Andy was knocked out of the singles, Jamie Murray’s doubles campaign also came to an end yesterday at the Australian Open in Melbourne.

Along with Liezel Huber of the USA, the fourth seeds were knocked out of the second round of the Mixed Doubles by unseeded Natalie Dechy of France and Andy Ram of Israel.

The match was played in extremely hot conditions on the Margaret Court Arena and the first set was fairly even with both pairs exchanging breaks of serve.

The set eventually went to a tiebreak which came just after Murray had received a warning for ball abuse after hitting the ball so high and far, it dropped into the adjacent Rod Laver Arena.

Despite the code violation, Murray and Huber clinched the tiebreak 8 – 6 with some aggressive play, particularly at the net.

It was a different story in the second set though with Murray and Huber making more errors and Dechy and Ram produced some strong serving to take the set 6 – 2 and level the match.

The unseeded pair carried the momentum into the deciding champions tie-break and despite being down a mini-break, a strong finish clinched the tie-break 10 – 4.

Murray will now look ahead to joining up again with, new partner for 2009, Dusan Vemic in the Men’s Doubles at the Zagreb Indoors in Croatia which begin on Monday.

The amount seems small in comparison to singles players. Keep up the great work!

JoJo and Stephanie are two of our biggest fans. They approached us and volunteered to do blackandhuber.com. I have no idea where they find all the time between the time difference to do what they have done. But we love our site and have become really good friends with them.
